Miss Naomi's Blog
Autumn Treats Welcome to my monthly blog! I will be posting new ideas on the first of each month. These ideas will bring enjoyment to you and your children. This is October and many fun things happen this month. The first thing that came to my mind is pumpkins! Pumpkins, pumpkins, little hands love to scoop them out. Decorate them with felt pens and stickers. Faces can be drawn on them, too. Here's an oldie, but goodie: pumpkin balls. They are made with Velveeta cheese. Roll the cheese into pumpkin shapes, and use pretzel sticks for stems. Make eyes out of raisins, or use dried cranberries and now you have red-eyed monsters.
Check out our kids' cookbooks for more cooking fun. Here is one book you can start with: The Cooking Book by Jane Bull. Happy autumn treats. See you again in November!
