Accelerated Reader

 

The Lee County School District participates in the Accelerated Reader program.

The library doesn't offer quizzes or label our books with colors, but we are continually trying to make the process of finding AR books in the library easier. Here you'll find some shortcuts to help you in the process.

Here's how to find AR Books:

                  1. Go to either of the AR sites: AR Bookfind or Ren Learn
                  2. Search for your books by your criteria.
                  3. Copy the Author, Title, or ISBN information for the book that you need.
                  4. Go to our catalog and search for your books to see if they are available in our library system.

Want an AR shortcut?  If you use the AR Bookfind site regularly, you may find our toolbar to be a helpful shortcut:


1. Install our Catalog Search Toolbar for Internet Explorer or Firefox. Or do your searching from one of our search stations inside our branches.
2. Search for your books at AR Bookfind or Ren Learn.
3. When you click on a book title on the AR Bookfind site, you'll see that the ISBNs at the bottom are hot links to our catalog.
4. Click the ISBN number, and it will search for the book in our catalog.
5. If the first ISBN displayed on the AR Bookfind site doesn't find your book in our catalog, click on the other ISBNs.
6. The toolbar can also check whether the library has books you find on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other book vendor sites. Click here for more info.
