Warm soup on a cool day, homemade ice cream, a big family meal on holidays; cooks create a mood when they create a meal. Whether searching for healthy recipes, party dishes, or the latest in gourmet cooking the library is ready to assist you. In addition to the Websites listed on the right the library has a variety of books and magazines available for your culinary projects.

You can browse the library the following areas or search the catalog for more specific titles. Many books contain recipes from different categories: 

  • Bread – 641.815
  • Desserts – 641.86
  • Holiday Cooking – 641.568
  • Slow Cooker Recipes – 641.5884
  • Vegetarian Cooking – 641.5936

Additionally, you can look in the Florida Collection of each library in the 641s for books specific to Florida Cooking .

Each library also carries books to turn kids into beginner chefs. Look for the numbers listed above, only in the Youth Services area of the library.
