SWFLN logoSWFLN Reciprocal Borrowing Program

Residents of participating libraries in Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee  and Monroe Counties may register for a free Lee County Library System library card to borrow library materials, use computers and use the Download Depot, through the SWFLN Reciprocal Borrowing Program.  (SWFLN stands for Southwest Florida Library Network).

To get a Lee County library card, first check to see if your local library is a participating library in the SWFLN program here.  If they are a participating library, then you must visit them first and ask for a SWFLN sticker to be affixed to your library card. These stickers are valid for one year.  Next, present your library card with the SWFLN sticker at any Lee County Library System location, and then you’ll be eligible to check out library materials or download items from the Download Depot.

Materials borrowed through SWFLN Reciprocal Borrowing should be returned to the library from which they were borrowed.

Note: Reciprocal borrowers are not eligible to request ILLs or use other Lee County Library System databases remotely.
