Some Firefox add-ons may cause the inability to logon to your account through the library website. If you are a Firefox user and are always returned to the logon screen when trying to logon, please follow these instructions:
1. To gain immediate access to your account, go directly to the library catalog page to login, rather than the library website. The catalog page is available here.
2. Download and install the latest version of Java.
- 3. After installing Java, restart Firefox. If you still cannot login to your account through the library website, continue with the following steps.
- 4. Start Firefox in Safe Mode.
In the Firefox Safe Mode startup dialog, check the "Disable all add-ons" box:

c. Click the "Make Changes and Restart" button.
d. You should be able to browse to the library website and login to your account.
5. Re-enabling your add-ons.
a. In Firefox, select Tools > Add-ons from the menu.
b. Select the "Plug-ins" tab:

c. Click "enable" for each of your plug-ins.
d. Repeat this process for the "Extensions" tab.
e. Restart Firefox.
All of your add-ons should be re-enabled and you should be able to log in to your library account through our website. If not, there may be a specific add-on conflicting with the login. Should that happen, repeat the process above, but re-enabling the add-ons one at a time and attempting to logon to your library account until you are not able to login. The add-on re-enabled prior to not being able to login is in conflict. Please remove it or use the direct link to our catalog in step #1 to login to your account. |
