Boca Grande Reference Room and Library
The Boca Grande Reference Room was founded in 1987 by a group of islanders to provide residents and visitors with a reference collection. LCLS services began in August 2000 with a part-time librarian and material delivery from Fort Myers. In July 2008, the Reference Room was expanded and renovated from 668 to 1,000 square feet. The Boca Grande Reference Room & Library now includes a circulating collection (5,000 items), a reference collection (500 items), 80 periodicals, 12 public access computers, wireless Internet access, a self-check machine and a copier.
