Northwest Regional Library
Northwest Regional Library is conveniently situated between Mariner Middle and High schools on Chiquita Boulevard in Cape Coral. The approximately 40,000-square-foot library is a welcomed new addition to the robust Lee County Library System. Education is the focus of Northwest Regional Library, which opened its doors to the public on Dec. 5, 2009. Consequently, a vast array of educational resources is available to students of all ages. However, there is so much more for patrons to explore as the library proudly hosts a collection of over 100,000 items. This fantastic resource offers a modern, high-tech look with lots of windows and clerestory glass for great natural lighting. Comfortable seating for readers, a fantastic children’s area, public computer stations, wireless Internet, and four tranquil reading gardens are on hand for patron enjoyment. One feature that distinguishes Northwest from the other Lee County regional libraries is its huge exhibit space. Measuring nearly 800 square feet, the exhibit space showcases educational displays and top-notch national exhibits to augment the diverse and exciting programs at the library. Northwest Regional Library is an incredible place for families to learn, grow and be entertained. Northwest is happy to serve you! Learn about the library's Friends group of supporters.
