Celebrate El día de los
niños/El día de los libros (Children’s Day/Book
Day) at your library
FORT MYERS, Fla., April 21, 2008 – Join the Lee County Library System in a celebration of El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children’s Day/Book Day).
This
internationally celebrated event honors children, books and bilingual literacy.
El día de los niños/El día de los libros encourages parents and
grandparents of all cultures to participate in activities that promote reading.

bibliography of suggested children’s books available in both English and
Spanish, is available on the Lee County Library System website: www.lee-county.com/library

El
día de los niños is officially observed annually on April 30, but the celebration
starts early at Lee County Library System with these free activities:
