FL; June 16, 2008- The
North Fort Myers Public Library will be closed Thursday, July 3 – Saturday,
July 5, while technicians replace the air conditioning system. The library will
reopen at 10a.m. Monday, July 7.
“So if you’d like beach reads, music or movies for your holiday weekend, be
sure to stock up on them by Wednesday, July 2. Whether you want something
patriotic, suspenseful or hilarious, we’ll help you find great books, DVDs or
CDs,” said North Fort Myers Public Library Manager, Maryellen Woodside.
Woodside added that library items due on July 3 or July 5 from the North Fort
Myers Public Library will have an extended due date of July 7. Items may be
returned in the book drops while the library is closed.
The library
will resume regular hours on July 7 and will close again for one day, Saturday,
August 9, so workers can complete the project.
While the North Fort Myers Public Library is closed, there are several nearby
Lee County Library System locations library users can visit; the closest is the
Library maps
and directions are available on the Lee County Library System website at www.lee-county.com/library.
