Bonita Springs FL, May 8, 2008 - Bonita Springs Public Library Closing for One Week

The Bonita Springs Public Library will close at 1p.m. on Friday, May 23 and will reopen at 10a.m. on Monday, June 2.

“Carpet needs to be installed in each area of the library, so we cannot have the building open until the work is completed. We regret this inconvenience for our patrons,” said Lee County Library System Community Relations Coordinator, Heather O’Connell.

Library users are encouraged to visit the nearest Lee County Library System location during the closure. The South County Regional Library is located at 21100 Three Oaks Parkway in Estero. O’Connell says there are also options for those who need information, but don’t want to make the drive.

“Many of the resources we recommend for research, language learning and homework are available on our website: www.lee-county.com/library.You can also browse the catalog, reserve items, view e-books or ‘check out’ downloadable audio books or videos,” O’Connell said.

“Just enter your library card number and PIN for any of these options. If you need help, click the Ask-A-Librarian icon and we will provide personal assistance via live chat service,” she added.
