Fort Myers, FL, May 5, 2008 - Library Satisfaction Survey

”I love this library! The staff is always helpful and pleasant. Books are relevant and new. The environment is clean, spacious and inviting. My family enjoys the storytime events and special activities you host for us.” A Cape Coral – Lee County Public Library patron

”I truly love your Foreign Movies selection. It is very important since none of these wonderful movies are shown on TV. Bring on more of these gems.” – A Fort Myers - Lee County Public Library patron

Your staff was wonderful in helping me with my family’s genealogy! I had spent at least 45 hours looking for documentation and a librarian found it in 1 hour and 5 minutes. Very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with!” - – A Fort Myers - Lee County Public Library patron

How satisfied are you with your library?

Starting this month, library users all over Lee County are encouraged to rate their satisfaction of library resources, materials, services and more.

The Counting Opinions Library Satisfaction survey asks library users to compare their satisfaction with free library materials, services and programs against other options such as bookstores, and search engines.

“We want to know how satisfied you are with how the library meets your information and entertainment needs, and which library services matter most to you”, said Heather O’Connell, Lee County Library System Community Relations Coordinator.

Responses to the Library Satisfaction survey can assist with the future development of library programs and services.

“We’ll be considering library users’ satisfaction with the library efforts that matter most to them. Their input will help us ensure efficient and effective delivery of these services and resources,” O’Connell said.

The Library Satisfaction survey is now available on the Lee County Library System website at www.lee-county.com/library Click the Counting Opinions logo to participate.

The survey takes about 7 minutes to complete; a longer version is also available for those who would like to provide more detailed comments.
