Who:  Lee County Library System

What:  11th annual Chocolate & Spirits Festival

When: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 4

Where:  Bell Tower Shops, corner U.S. 41 and Daniels Parkway, Fort Myers, Fla.  Look by the Fountain in the Center Court area; outdoors all around the fountain if weather is good.  If the weather is not so good, look inside the store between Clark’s and Portfolio.  The event is on, rain or shine!

Why:  Raising money for the Lee County Library System’s 11th annual Southwest Florida Reading Festival.  The next Reading Festival will feature best-selling authors like Lisa Jackson, James Grippando, Carla Neggers, Chris Claremont, and R.L. Stine.  Funds raised at the Chocolate & Spirits Festival help pay expenses associated with the March 20, 2010 Reading Festival, a free community event for southwest Florida residents and visitors.

How it Works:  Admission to Chocolate & Spirits Festival is free.  Funds are raised via tickets that are purchased for $1 apiece and traded for chocolate samples.
