The Lee County Library System will hold a media-only preview of the new Northwest Regional Library. Sheldon Kaye, Lee County Library System Director and Ava Barrett, Manager of the Northwest Regional Library will be available for interviews. |

The Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening of the Northwest Regional Library is scheduled for Saturday, December 5 at 10:00am. This media-only preview event will provide an opportunity for media representatives to get a ‘sneak peek’ at the new library and take file photos/videos. |

The Lee County Library System (LCLS) provides public library services to the people of Lee County through five regional and seven Branch libraries, a Talking Books sub-regional library, special agricultural collection, Bookmobile, Telephone Reference, community outreach services, processing and administration centers. The Northwest Regional Library will be the sixth (and largest) regional library. The LCLS is a division of Lee County government and is funded through a dedicated millage to library service.
