Thursday, December 10 from 12 p.m. to 6 = p.m.: South County Regional Library, 21100 Three Oaks Parkway, Estero

Why: Many Lee County residents are taking advantage of the wide variety of downloadable audiobooks, E-books, music and videos available at t= he library, and you can too! Find out more about these g= reat resources when the Lee County Library System hosts the Digital Bookmobile = for a special downloading event. Operated by OverDrive, Inc., the Digital Bookmobile is a fully-loaded download experie= nce with instructional videos and interactive computer stations that allow rea= ders of all ages to experience new ways to enjoy digital books anytime, anywher= e.

The vehicle is equipped with broadband Internet-connected PCs, high definition monitors, premium sound systems, and a variety of portable media players, = all of which help visitors explore Lee County Library System’s download service.

Admission: Free. We’re hoping to set an attendance record for the Digital Bookmobile’s nationwide tour.=

Bonus: The Thursday, December 10 eve= nt marks the 200^th Digital Bookmobile stop since it hit the road in 2009. Two MP3 players will be given away in a prize drawing, courtes= y of the Friends of the South County Regional Library.
