What:  The 12th annual Chocolate & Spirits Festival, one of the area’s favorite sampling events!  The evening will feature sinfully delicious chocolate creations from area restaurants, festive holiday spirits, live entertainment and a silent auction. 

 

When: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2010

 

Where:  Bell Tower Shops, corner U.S. 41 and Daniels Parkway, Fort Myers, Fla.  The Festival will be held outside in the Center Court area all around the fountain.

 

Why:  Proceeds benefit the Lee County Library System’s annual Reading Festival.  The next Reading Festival will feature best-selling authors such as Nelson DeMille, Ridley Pearson, Alice Hoffman and Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Funds raised at the Chocolate & Spirits Festival help pay expenses associated with the March 19, 2011 Reading Festival, a free community event for southwest Florida residents and visitors.

How it Works:  Admission to Chocolate & Spirits Festival is free.  Funds are raised via tickets that are purchased for $1 apiece and traded for chocolate samples.
